Funny People. Funny People Everywhere.

I was just surfing through Facebook, like I usually do because I am frighteningly jobless (despite the fact the my exams start in a week!), checking all these fancy memes out and noticed this first comment on one of the memes. It is too hilarious, so I just HAD to share it with you guys! It’s by some guy named Chris Brenna. Hats off to the guy, he has my respect and admiration.

Here’s the comment: “I feel so honored to be the first comment. All of my hard work and dedication has paid off. Getting the top comment has been a dream of mine for many years, and i would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost i would like to thank god for giving me this opportunity. Next i would like to thank my parents. I want to thank my friend Lassi Pohjonen, for being really skinny and always there for me. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole for surviving against all odds for over a week. Next i would like to thank the squirrel that lives in my backyard for climbing trees because that gives me inspiration that i need to get through the day. This is a special moment in my life and i would like to thank any of my unmentioned friends and family that have helped me along the way. This moment will be a moment that i will never forget. I just remmembered a few other people i would like to thank; facebook, the fish i caught in the third grade, my light in my room bc i wouldn’t be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me go on facebook, my house because without it i would be homeless, and last but not least i would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this. I cannot stress how much of a big deal to me this is. I have been trying to be the first comment on a post for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. Hopefully my good luck will continue, but this is undoubtedly a rare occasion. If you asked me how i did this, i would say, you can achieve anything u set your mind on. To all the kids out there reading this, i would like to tell them to follow their dreams. Being the top comment is amazing, thank you everyone.”

Don’t you think it’s absolutely hilarious? 😀

I Can’t Come Up With an Appropriate Title

Initially, I started this blog for the feeling of animosity it gave me. In this big wide world, I’m a nobody. As of now. Nobody knows me and nobody knows of me either. Other than my friends and family and people who…um… Know me! In the world wide web, nobody knows me, nobody cares about who I am, what I am, where I’m from, what I do and what I’m here for. I have no identity. I’m just a needle in an entire barn. And I love it. In this blog, I can write whatever I want and to the world, I’m just a username. And since I find it easier to express my feelings through written words rather than spoken ones, this blog is a bloody boon.
There are so many things I’d like to say to so many people. Okay, not too many people. Just a few. But I don’t/can’t. For various reasons. One of the major ones being I’m just extraordinarily crappy with expressing my feelings. But sometimes I just dont want to let people know what im feeling. Like when I have a crush on someone. I’d rather Facebook stalk the person than talk to him. Because I say the most weirdest things ever when I try to talk to someone I like. So it’s more like self preservation.
And then there are times when people hurt me with their careless words. I never let them know that they hurt me, because I believe that if you let someone know how much he/she affects you, it just makes you vulnerable and that much easier for the other person to screw you over. But then again, that’s just my twisted logic. And then there are instances when I get ridiculously insecure. I’m a very Very VERY insecure person. But usually, insecure people constantly look for reassurance. I don’t do that. I believe that my insecurities are my problem and not somebody else’s responsibility to take care of.

So anyway, basically, I love how this blog lets me vent my feelings, my anger, frustrations, insecurities etc. I love the fact that I can write whatever I want to and nobody will give a damn. Unless of course I’m hurling abuses at random groups of people. Which I dont plan to do. But this feeling of animosity is not there anymore. Far too many of my friends know about my blog (due to my shameless bid for attention and because I publicized it on Facebook). So now if I write something about someone, chances are he/she will read it. And with my luck, he/she will also realize that I’m writing about him/her. Then the entire purpose of writing it here instead of directly telling them is defeated. I know a possible solution to this is making a new blog, but I’m far too lazy to maintain two blogs. I can barely maintain one!

But anyway, here’s a funny picture to make up for the utter rubbish you had to read till now.

The Ridiculously Photogenic Guy

Hello my fellow earthlings!
Ok, don’t ask me what that’s about ’cause I don’t know.

For the past couple of days, I’ve had absolutely nothing to do. So like any other teen, I’ve resorted to Facebook to pass my time. I mean, a little Facebook stalking the ex-boyfriend doesn’t hurt anyone now, does it? But when I was done stalking their walls and pictures, I decided to aimlessly surf around a bit. And nowadays all those pages with funny pictures all over them are so popular. All the memes and all. Weird pages, I tell you… I mean, pages like “The guy above me has been raped by Justin Bieber” or “I can talk in hyperlinks as well” are just dumb, if you ask me. Funny, but dumb.

Anyway, so I came across LOADS of pictures of the Ridiculously Photogenic Guy. Heard of him? Yes? No? Well, I’ll tell you what he’s all about. He is the new face of the world wide web. Nah, just kidding. But he’s damn famous. And no, he’s not  famous for being a movie star or a singer or a band member or director or producer or instrumentalist or anything of that sort. He’s famous for being ridiculously photogenic. Yes, you heard me right. Well, read me right…

Here’s the story- Zeddie Little, a guy whos photograph was taken while he was competing in the 10km Cooper Bridge run in his hometown of Charleston. And even mid-run, his photo was perfect. A million dollar smile, the sun highlighting his perfect hair, looking all happy and non-sweaty. Basically, even in a random photo of his which was clicked while he was running, he looked better than I would if I posed for the camera.  Honest. Ridiculously photogenic, I tell you.

Mr Little said: ‘It was a fluke to be honest. We figured it out…I was running and waving at a friend who was on the sidelines. I turned around and I caught a camera lens… and that’s history.’

The photo was uploaded and he literally became popular overnight. One photo. Beats my 600 photos on  Facebook, hands down. Bleh.
He is now known as the Riduculously Photogenic Guy. He showed up on a morning show on national TV as well! For being photogenic! Beat that! Talk about being at the right place at the right time… His photo has been the source of memes as well. Check ’em out

I know. Tell me about it…
